Maria Ramos an NYC native who has trained in various forms of dance such as Ballet, Street Jazz, African, Vogue, Whacking, Mambo & Bachata. Maria has been in the entertainment industry for two decades.
Her versatility and experience have rendered her one of the most respected and sought after performers in the business. With a unique artistic approach to dance and choreography, she has created a style that is instantly recognizable and entirely individual. Maria studied Dance at the world-renowned Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Talent Unlimited High school, and Broadway Dance Center.
Maria Ramos has assembled impressive television, video, stage and commercial dancer for recording artists such as “Kanye West”, “Shakira”, “Ciara”, and “Justin Timberlake”. Maria Ramos performed at the 2018 Grammys as the principal Latin dancer for Rihanna and DJ Khalid. Catch Maria as a character in Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Television credits include: “Saturday Night Live”, “Stride Gum”, “NIKE” and danced in the new movie “In The Heights” coming 2020. Maria also recently choreographed for Billboard Latin music super star, Romeo Santos.
Maria was the principle dancer of the legendary Santo Rico Dance Company where she taught & performed all around the world for years (2010 – 2012). She later continued to pursue her latin dance career with then partner Fausto Felix (2014 – 2017) and was the original member of The New York Movement where she competed and became 4x World Salsa Champion & 1x Bachata Team Champion.
